DoTriple-Mill – Frame for construction machinery – AH120
IMPROVED PRODUCTIVITY AND TOOL LIFE
Face milling of the construction machinery frame. It is necessary to remove the bead from the welding, but the conventional 45° face milling cutter had caused sudden breakage.
To prevebt the breakage, we proposed a low-depth-of-cut, high-feed machining using the DoTripleMill round insert.
As a result, we succeeded in suppressing sudden breakage and achieved a 1.8 times improvement in machining efficiency.
