MillQuadFeed09 – SUS Plate – U type inserts
IMPROVE TOOL LIFE & PRODUCTIVITY
In high-feed machining of SUS304 plates, the conventional tool suffered flank wear that increased cutting resistance, causing workpiece distortion and deflection and limiting tool life to three parts. Therefore, the MillQuadFeed09-U type equipped with an MM breaker was introduced. By using a low approach angle to generate thin chips stably and suppress cutting resistance, flank life was extended. As a result, tool life was increased to five parts, machining efficiency improved by approximately 14 %, and overall productivity was significantly enhanced.
