- The workpiece is very thin & the clamping rigidity is very low. DoPent machined the workpiece without chipping because of low thrust force due to its 70-degree approach angle and sharp cutting edge. The competitor had fracture on the insert since chattering occurred due to big thrust force and weak cutting edge.
