- HSS-drill takes a longer time for tool set up (removing drill, adjusting tool length and inputting tool length in the program) than DrillMeister, which requires changing the head only. Thus reducing machine down time.
Longer tool life:
- Optimized geometry of cutting edge and Ti-Al-Ni coating on the submicron substrate improve tool life more than 2.5 times compared to the competitor.
