IMPROVE TOOL LIFE AND PRODUCTIVITY
Customer sought a stable drilling solution for heat exchanger tube sheets. The existing head-exchangeable drill exhibited poor tool life when drilling austenitic stainless steel. Inadequate chip control restricted productivity improvement.
The DrillMeister DMP head with the AH9130 PVD grade achieved 5% longer tool life and 1.3 times higher productivity, thanks to excellent chip evacuation and wear resistance.
