BX480 – CVJ Inner Race – BX480
IMPROVED TOOL LIFE
While intended for cast iron machining, BX480 contains high volume-percent PcBN for superior fracture resistance and can as well be used for interrupted cutting of hardened steel parts. Combined with optimized edge preparation, BX480 demonstrated better fracture resistance compared with the competitor’s H30- equivalent CBN grade. As the result, 2 times tool life increase was achieved.
