BX480 – CVJ Outer Race – BX480
IMPROVED TOOL LIFE
While intended for cast iron machining, BX480 contains high volume-percent PcBN for superior fracture resistance and can as well be used for interrupted cutting of hardened steel parts. Combined with H style (S01835) edge preparation, BX480 demonstrated better fracture resistance compared with the competitor’s H30- equivalent CBN grade. As the result, 2.3 times tool life increase was achieved.
