Improved tool life
The customer requested extended tool life and improved chip evacuation. The tool life was judged based on the condition of the machined surface.
Testing the combination of TSF breaker and AT9530 at a cutting speed of 135% resulted in 1.6 times longer tool life, more stable machining.
AT9530 showed excellent wear resistance and superior surface condition, leading to successful replace from competitor's PVD grades.
Furthermore, TSF breaker significantly improved chip control and evacuation.
