Cermet-Carrier Parts-NS9530
Improved tool life
In External turning of carrier components, short tool life and poor chip control were major problems. Furthermore, due to the specified radius (R) of the workpiece, RE04 inserts had to be used.
Testing a combination of a precision finishing TF breaker and NS9530 resulted in 2 times longer tool life and improved chip control & evacuation.
NS9530 showed excellent wear resistance and superior surface finish, leading to a successful replacing from other manufacturers' CVD grades.
