IMPROVED MACHINED SURFACE
Our customer uses carbide grades to machine electrical components. With the current carbide grades, the machined surface becomes cloudy and reaches the end of its tool life after about 20-30 machining operations.
Therefore, we tested DS2005, which has excellent wear resistance and welding resistance in non-ferrous metal machining. The results showed that it achieved a superior machined surface condition compared to the carbide grade.
As shown below, when comparing the damage state after the same number of machining operations, DS2005 demonstrated superior welding resistance.
