IMPROVED TOOLLIFE
The customer was using another company's DLC-coated material for A6061 machining. they requested an extension of tool life.
Therefore, we tested DS2005, a DLC-coated grade with excellent wear resistance in non-ferrous alloy machining, and achieved a stable 1.2 times longer lifespan.
DS2005 has excellent wear resistance and anti-welding resistance, resulting in a superior machined surface and longer tool life. As shown below, the damage to DS2005 is very small and welding is minimal.
