IMPROVED TOOLLIFE
The customer was using a competitor's carbide grade to machine flange parts, but requested an extension of tool life. The criteria of tool life was the condition of the machined surface.
Therefore, we tested DS2005, DLC-coated grade that provides excellent surface finish in non-ferrous alloy machining, and achieved a stable and 3 times longer tool life.
DS2005 has excellent wear resistance and anti-welding resistance, resulting in superior machined surfaces and extended tool life.
