TungMeister – Shaft – AH725
IMPROVED PRODUCTIVITY
Shoulder milling was performed on a shaft using a competitor’s solid carbide end mill.
Under the low-rigidity BT30 environment, cutting conditions could not be increased, limiting productivity.
The applied D.O.C was changed from 1mm to 2mm, and cutting conditions were optimized by utilizing the low cutting resistance and anti-chatter characteristics of the VEE-C head.
As a result, machining efficiency improved by 2.8 times.
In addition, what had previously required 5 minutes for tool setup was reduced to just 30 seconds, significantly shortening tool setup time.
