Previously, the customer used a drill for hole making, followed by a shoulder milling cutter to machine the workpiece.
By switching to DoMultiRec, the drilling tool became unnecessary, and all machining could be completed with a single tool.
As a result, machining time was reduced by 29%, and tool life per insert increased by 122%.
