DoTwistBall – Turbine Blade – AH3135
IMPROVED TOOL LIFE & PRODUCTIVITY
Long tool life and high productivity: Thanks to a large inclination and helical lead on the DTB insert, DoTwistBall achieved a light cutting action compared with an R6.0 (.24”) button cutter. The compact yet robust geometry of the insert improved accuracy and economy, while achieving stable machining with reduced risk of tool failures. Insert life has hence doubled, and metal removal rate has increased by 1.4 times.
