- Due to the uniquely designed wiper edge with radius shape, SW chipbreaker increases productivity by 1.2 times compared to the competitor’s regular insert without wiper.
Long tool life
- T515, the new grade for cast iron, drastically improves wear resistance especially in continuous cutting due to the thicker Al2O3 layer, resulting in stable machining that extends tool life by 3 times compared to the competitor.
Cost reduction
- In addition to high productivity and long tool life, SW chipbreaker in the ISO EcoTurn series will deliver cost reduction while its cutting performance is equal to or higher than the competitor’s regular-sized inserts.
