For grooving operations on SUS304 outboard motor parts, consistent machining quality and reliable tool performance are essential due to the material’s toughness. In this project, the Tungaloy TetraForce-Cut with AH6235 grade was introduced and demonstrated stable processing throughout a trial run of 15 units, meeting all requirements without any issues. The tool’s advanced insert geometry and wear-resistant grade proved highly effective for this application, supporting the customer’s acceptance for full production under the campaign.
