UNIDEX enables longer life and deeper cuts in tough duplex stainless steel SUS329J3L.
The customer transitioned to UNIDEX for SUS329J3L, a duplex stainless steel known for its machining difficulty due to its sticky and hard nature. Previously, tool life averaged only 3 meters per corner using competitor tools.
After switching to our tool, the customer achieved significantly improved performance, even under lower cutting speeds compared to austenitic grades like SUS304 and SUS316. This resulted in longer tool life and reduced operational costs.
