AddForceCut – VALVE BODY – AH7025
IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY AND TOOL LIFE
In parting off 2205 super duplex valve bodies on a CNC lathe, the previous setup was hindered by limited tool life and suboptimal productivity.
By introducing Tungaloy’s AddForceCut with AH7025 grade, known for its nano-multilayer PVD coating and fracture-resistant substrate, the process achieved significantly enhanced wear and chipping resistance under demanding conditions.
As a result, the number of parts produced per cutting edge increased from 5 to 13, while productivity rose by over 25%, dramatically improving daily output.
