By introducing Tungaloy's TungCut system with the DGM3-020 insert in AH8005 grade—known for its superior wear resistance and reliable performance in stainless steel applications—the customer achieved a significant improvement.
The number of parts produced per cutting edge increased from 350 to 550, representing a tool life extension of over 57%, while maintaining stable machining conditions throughout the process.
