In parting off S45C shafts on a Swiss lathe, the previous tool struggled with limited tool life and suboptimal surface finish, achieving only 2,000 parts per edge and leaving small remnants on the workpiece.
By adopting Tungaloy’s DuoJust-Cut with SH7025 grade, featuring high wear resistance and a stable double-clamp mechanism, both productivity and surface quality were dramatically improved.
