IMPROVED TOOL LIFE
Featuring unique variable-width T-land and large rake angle, SDM chipbreaker provided superior resistance to notch wear as shown to the left. As the result, 2 times longer tool life was achieved. AH6225 eliminated typical failure mechanisms in stainless steel machining such as built-up edge, crater wear, and plastic deformation. It also provided long and predictable tool life.
