Improved productivity
- FW chipbreaker for finishing with a unique wiper shape allowed the feed rate to be increased by 2.3 times, and also achieved excellent surface finish and long tool life as the competitor’s regular insert without a wiper edge.
Stable Machining
- In deep boring at high feed, chattering tends to occur because the toolholder’s overhang in long. FW chipbreaker had no chattering even in high-feed machining, delivering improved productivity and stable machining.
