NTK DS holder series - Precision Machine Parts - ST4
The combination of ST4 and GX breaker not only greatly reduces tool wear but also improves chip evacuation by breaking chips into smaller pieces. When used together with the DS Holder series (DS-GTTL-OH), it is effective even in grooving operations where coolant supply to the cutting edge is difficult. This improvement in chip control has doubled tool life. In addition, chatter on the machined surface has been reduced.
