DuoJust-Cut – check valve – SH7025
IMPROVE TOOL LIFE
In external grooving operations on SCM435H check valves for the construction industry, the previous tool struggled with insufficient tool life and inconsistent chip control.
By adopting Tungaloy’s DuoJust-Cut system with SH7025 grade, which features a high-rigidity clamping mechanism and a PVD coating engineered for excellent wear resistance and sustained edge sharpness, the process achieved significant gains in stability and surface quality.
As a result, tool life improved by over 300%, with the number of parts cut per edge reaching 860 compared to only 280 for the previous solution.
