By using NTK’s TMV-650, cutting speed was slightly lower than the competitor’s, but it achieved excellent chip control and 1.7 times longer tool life.
The TMV geometry ensured stable cutting, reduced vibration, and improved surface finish.
Additionally, the number of corners increased from 4 to 6, which also contributed to cost reduction.
